Completion of our registration form is required for all work involving Fetch Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Service (hereafter shown as FETCH). This will normally be completed during the initial meeting to provide a complete overview of your needs and so FETCH has the relevant information needed to be able to work with you and your pet.
Entry to Client's premises
The client gives consent to FETCH to enter their property; for the purposes of Pet collection or other services requested (also in signed contract.)
The Client will be responsible for leaving a key out or giving FETCH a copy of their key so access to client's house can be obtained when required to carry out FETCH services.
Security alarms in client’s premises
It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that FETCH can enter the client’s home or temporary accommodation without setting off any intruder alarms. Arrangements must be made prior to the booking if alarm codes need to be given. This must include clear instructions of how to turn off or disable an activated alarm.
It is understood that FETCH shall not be held responsible for any damage to client’s property, or that of others, caused by client’s pets during the period in which they are in our care.
FETCH will invoice the client on completion of the work (for occasional bookings) or weekly for regular clients.
ALL payments must be received in the form of BACS transfer or cash (if you prefer) no more than 7 days after the issue of the invoice. Invoices will be emailed to the client at the end of every business week to the client's email as provided on the registration form.
Clients must give a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel any booked appointments or the full amount will be payable.
FETCH cannot care for any Pets showing signs of an undisclosed illness, disease or injury. If your pet should become ill whilst in our care; we will immediately contact you or your emergency contact after we have consulted a Vet in more serious situations.
FETCH accepts no liability in the unlikely event that your pet becomes ill or passes away, whilst in our care. If this should occur we will immediately contact you, so that we can carryout your wishes. We will endeavour to do all we possibly can to prevent such an event.
If your pet requires emergency veterinary care whilst in our care: We will take it to your nominated vet wherever possible. All pets in our care MUST be registered with a vet. If we are unable to go to your vet; we will utilise the nearest one available. Any consultation, call-out or treatment costs will be charged to the client. Your pet will be treated under your name and address.
It is the client’s responsibility to raise any concerns prior to the booking or make any complaints as soon as possible thereafter. We cannot improve our service if we don’t know when a customer is unhappy. We welcome any feedback, comments or suggestions about our services.
FETCH cannot walk your dog/s off their lead without your written consent to do so (for Insurance purposes). The client must complete the relevant section on the registration form.
FETCH cannot upload any photos/videos online without written consent to do so. The client must complete the relevant section on the registration form.
FETCH can only walk dogs that have a collar or harness to wear for the duration of the walk; with some form of id tag. All dogs MUST be micro-chipped (as per DEFRA law).
In the event of extreme conditions: such as torrential rain or snow, high winds or thunder storms; we will let your dog out to relieve themselves, then we will spend the remainder of the visit with your dog, doing owner-approved indoor activities.
All dogs will be transported in an air-conditioned dog van from your door unless the walking venue is within close range to your property.
FETCH reserves the right to walk any dog on a trial basis until completely happy that the dog fits in with the rest of the group. If FETCH feels uncomfortable with your dog, then your dog will no longer be walked until the correct training has been given by owner.
